Castle Trust are looking for a dynamic Analytics and Model Manager to join the Finance team based at the London office to provide wide ranging support, advice and analytical insight across the Risk Function and the wider business ensuring that Castle Trust has robust models that deliver their intended outcomes. This is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to continue to develop their own modelling skills as well as to broaden their exposure to a variety of asset classes and models and to provide high quality analytical insight to the group's senior management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaboration with finance, commercial, treasury and credit risk teams in their use of models, data and forecasting tools to ensure that the models are robust, understood and deliver appropriate outcomes
  • To plan and deliver a back testing programme for key models
  • To deliver a model monitoring suite of controls for credit models
  • To support colleagues across the organisation to embed greater analytical capacity and capability through training, informal support and specific anlaytical development projects


Key Skills/experience
  • Good analytical model experience ideally gained in a credit risk environment
  • SAS required, SQL, R / Python, VBA, advantageous
  • Good understanding of credit risk with exposure to IFRS 9 oracquisition models required; IRB or forecasting models advantageous
  • Masters / professional finance qualification in an analytical area ideally including statistical / modelling exposure
