We're looking for an experienced and motivated Head of Design to join our London team. Head of Design will be responsible for the overall aesthetics and visual design of the digital product; will be creating the concepts, artwork and layouts for the digital product as well as monitoring the overall quality of the final creative work and the quality of the project's design elements. Head of Design will be closely collaborating with UX, IT and business teams to solve complex issues, like interaction models and data visualisation.

Main Accountabilities:
  • Work with Brand to define and create the Brand Guidelines
  • Create a Style Guide for the digital product (mobile app/web site)
  • Work within brand guidelines to create layouts that reinforce a brand's style or voice through its visual touchpoints
  • Design icons and infographics
  • Create and organize production assets (deliverables for development team)
  • Create and work with a component library (preferably in Figma)
  • Work on email marketing items, presentation materials and interactive event materials
  • Responsible for production and user facing experiences

Job Context:

Home Office (remote position); international travel may be required

Job Profile Requirements:
  • 5+ years prior experience on a similar role
  • Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography & limitations of online and offline design work
  • Strong expertise with working in Agile Development environment for the production of digital applications (preferably mobile apps)
  • Experience of designing for the banking and fintech sectors
  • Experience with:
    - Figma / Sketch
    - InVision (optional if using Sketch)
    - Adobe PhotoshopAbility to lead design projects from concept to completion Effectively managing timelines and expectations; ability to achieve tight deadlines Excellent organisational and communication skills An online portfolio which demonstrates results, process, and way of thinking about user experience and product design will be an advantage
