Southdown acts as Lead Provider to deliver the Community Roots contract in Brighton and Hove, working collaboratively with mental health providers to develop a network of integrated support. Services provided include prevention, wellbeing and recovery support for people with a range of mental health challenges. Support for people's carers and families is also available.
An exciting development for Community Roots is the new role of Community Engagement Workers who offer one to one psychosocial support to those with complex needs, aiming to stabilise their situation and connect individuals with appropriate services. The Community Engagement Workers will:
- Establish excellent working relationships with clinical mental health services.
- Work in collaboration with GP's, Primary and Secondary Mental Health and other mental health services.
You will have experience of working in the mental health sector and an ability to work with people facing complex issues. High quality supervision and training will be provided.Closing date
