About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Treasury Operation team where we are looking to recruit a Treasury Operations Team Manager to cover family leave.
The Treasury Operations team are responsible for the settlement, confirmation and accounting of the Society's treasury function. The team ensure all transactions, performed on a daily basis are correctly recorded within the treasury management system and that all transactions requiring a funds transfer are settled within the requisite timescales.
Reporting to the Treasury Operations Manager you will manage the day to day running of the Treasury Operations department where you will be responsible for ensuring full end to end processing and settlement of all treasury transactions. You will also be responsible for management, coaching and training of a team of two treasury coordinators.
The Treasury Operations team sits within the Group Finance function and comprises a number of teams which cover all things financial for the group including preparation of Statutory and Regulatory Reporting, Management Accounts, Budgeting and Forecasting, Payment of Suppliers, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll, Treasury Operations and providing Business Information to the Society.
You will have experience working in a treasury team and will be comfortable with managing and developing a team. You will have knowledge of treasury settlement processes and in particular treasury transactions and experience of using a treasury management system.
You will be have the ability to effectively lead a team, be an excellent communicator and be able to effectively communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders. You will have a strong attention to detail, IT skills and strong organisation and interpersonal skills.
