We are recruiting an experienced and knowledgeable QA and Test Team Lead to join out Product Engineering Team. Reporting into the Head of Product Engineering, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the QA and Test policy, along with creating a centre of excellence for our QA and Test experts.

The Digital and Data team defines and delivers the digital products and services used by students, providers, advisers, and commercial partners, as well as the underlying technology platforms that enable these products to be developed in a responsive and agile way. This role is crucial to ensure that quality is built into our product development and to make sure that support tooling, environments and test data requirements are built into our processes.

Therefore, we are seeking an individual who has:

• Previous experience of leading and managing QA and Test teams across a diverse portfolio of software products and services in a matrix managed organisation.

• Significant experience of functional and non-functional testing techniques, in addition to a deep understanding of tools, environment and test data strategies.

• Demonstrable experience in setting QA vision and direction and implementing cross functionally within a software product business.

• Knowledge of TDD/BDD techniques and experience of implementing test automation strategies.
