Our client is seeking to add an exceptionally talented and technically savvy Financial Controller to their team. You will ideally have a strong track-record in technical accounting and a demonstrable "hands on" approach throughout your career. This is a key role within the business, driving continuous improvement across the finance team and taking the lead in ensuring all monthly management accounts, annual statutory and tax returns are all compliant, timely and accurate.


•Production of consolidated accounts for UK and overseas businesses

•Managing the audit process, production of statutory accounts and tax compliance (VAT and corporation tax) of UK and overseas businesses

•Monthly reporting of balance sheet movement, un-reconciled balances and monitoring risks and raising issues within balance sheet accounts, taking appropriate action when needed

•Developing robust financial controls, systems and processes

•Transfer pricing, treasury and cash flow management to include management of relationships with invoice discounting providers

•Implementing continuous improvement procedures for finance processes across the group


•Strong technical finance and accounting experience, likely to be big 4 trained;

•Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) with a strong academic record;

•Group consolidation and reporting experience

•Dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills


•A demonstrable career history of taking on responsibility and showing initiative

•Ability to communicate and work with key stakeholders in a multi-site business

•Excellent technical knowledge

•High degree of accuracy, good analytical skills and strong attention to detail

•Ability to motivate and lead teams
