E-commerce SEO Executive Nevisport is an established outdoor retailer for the last 50 years, which is currently on an exciting digital journey, changing the way our customers shop with us. Be it camping, hiking, skiing or simply walking the dog - we've got you well-covered and best-equipped for your next adventure (whether that's scaling a new summit or venturing to the farthest reaches of your local park). In this newly created role we're looking for a SEO Executive to join our E-commerce team. The primary purpose is to support our E-commerce Manager in executing a strategy to drive traffic, revenue and new customer acquisition. This role would suit someone with a keen interest in search engine optimisation, who is looking to develop their career in a fast paced and growing business. Skills Required: Good knowledge of fundamental principles of SEO (on-page optimisation, site structure, keyword focussed copy, link building) Strong understanding of onsite elements (metadata, structured data, canonical tags, robots.txt, hreflang etc.) Understanding of the value of links in a keyword focussed campaign Clear understanding of good vs. bad SEO practices Ability to network well and foster relationships with third party collaborators Knowledge of Google and SEO software (e.g. Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEO PowerSuite, Google Analytics, Search Console) Responsibilities: Work with the E-commerce Manager to develop tactics targeted towards improving the company's online presence and driving sales Carry out SEO focussed analysis on industry, competitors and search trends to influence strategy development Find optimisation opportunities and communicate theses to the SEO Lead Manage a successful outreach campaign focussed on building high authority links and forging strong relationships with third part collaborators Perform keyword research and mapping, and link building Working towards company KPIs and objectives, ensuring all work delivers against these Next Steps: If you have the qualities we are looking for, please apply.
