We are looking for a talented System Administrator to join our Application and Infrastructure Management (AIM) Team. This role is instrumental to the future development of our Software as a Service offering. The successful candidate will be responsible for our infrastructure roadmap guided and supported by our CTO and the AIM Team Lead. What you'll be doing... System Administration Manage network servers and technology tools Upgrade systems with new releases and models Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies System Support Set up accounts and workstations Setup and manage internal networking and hardware deployments Troubleshoot issues and provide support on clients infrastructure, internal software applications our hosting infrastructure System Solutions Design Identify system resource requirements and design infrastructure solutions Research and present options based on business needs Participate in company RFP process sharing knowledge on infrastructure requirements. What we need... Experience working with and deploying web server environments, Linux, Apache, Nginx, MySQL, Docker Understanding of managing and securing system Problem solving and analytical thinking Ability to work independently and as part of team. Great communication skills both verbal and written Occasional availability for out of hours maintenance Nice to have...
