About the Fixed Income Assets Technical Product Manager Role:

The Technical Product Manager with a background in Fixed Income Assets will work as the Product Specialist/Technical SME within the Fixed Income Asset Class.

The Fixed Income Asset Class Technical Product Manager will work with the Development Manager to analyse the business and data requirements for new suite of indices.

Working with the Fixed income platform development team, you will help build a new, complex platform written in Java.

You will also help the development team understand the business and data requirements and build the technical solutions around it.

In addition to this, you will collaborate with the BA, testing teams, and the agile scrum master.

This will be a finance focussed role and you will need to understand complex fixed income asset class data, fixed income asset class level calculations, and index/portfolio calculations.

Your main responsibility will be to work with the Development Manager and BA to analyse new index build requirements.

Ideal Requirements for the Fixed Income Assets Technical Product Manager Role:

- Degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science (or another numerate discipline)

- Programming experience within the Financial Services sector - particulalry in Fixed Income Assets Class

- Good database developer skills, ie SQL

- Java skills will be highly desirable

- Strong analytical, communication and attention to detail skills

- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills

- Good people/stakeholder management skills

About You:

You will be a confident individual with the relevant gravitas to perform the role. You will be able to draw on many years' experience in similar positions.

You will be used to fast-paced environments where you will be responsible for the key operations of a major organisations. You will thrive under pressure and you will respond to any problems with speed, calmness, and authority.

You will act as the bridge between the business and IT.

You will be used to being innovative within the tech space and will have had experience in the financial services sector.
