As a Sales Director, you will report directly to the CEO, who is based in our LA office, whilst you will hold responsibility for our London office. Our London office is currently split 50/50 between contract and permanent. We are known within our market for being true specialists from the brand we have created. We believe in building communities; we have sponsored several conferences globally and we organise our own monthly meet up.

Overview of Role

The Sales Director is responsible for managing the P&L for Signify UK & Europe based in our London office. This will include managing and growing the team, the candidate talent pool and the client base as well as taking new services and technologies to market. Core responsibilities include:

• Managing the P&L for the business and delivering agreed upon profitability numbers

• Direct management of the senior leaders within the London office

• Line management of the sales teams

• Fine-tuning the Signify Technology service offerings in alignment with the European market

• Attracting, interviewing and retaining internal talent

• Assisting with Learning and Development of all seniorities

• Creating the overall short and long-term strategies for the office with Senior Management

• Developing and implementing the operating model and vision for the business

• Identifying and developing new opportunities, including clients, technologies and regions

• Embody the core values of the business

The right person

  • A proven and successful background in recruitment, preferably in tech recruitment
  • Will have experience running a high performing team
  • Must have managed a team of 25-50 plus of different seniority's
  • Confident, charismatic, ambitious, entrepreneurial, creative, personable, resilient, self-motivated, able to work with autonomy and ability to think outside the box
  • High energy, motivated with a great work ethic and eager to develop others
  • Tech savvy and up to date with the latest market trends
  • A role model to others, a real team player who can motivate and inspire others
  • Not essential but a bonus - have been involved in taking a company through acquisition


• 6+ years of experience working as an end to end hands-on recruiter with technology experience (preferably Opensource, Software Development/Technology & Data or Java)

• 4+ years of experience managing teams, at least two years of which should be managing other managers

• 2+ years of experience successfully delivering against a P&L in a continuous growth environment

• Experience working or managing teams in both permanent and contract recruitment markets

• Demonstrated experience developing and building teams, leaders and markets in a fast-paced growth environment

• Experience working and leading in a sales and sales management environment with strong attention to processes

• Experience with developing new services and taking them to market

• Able to develop and adapt to new processes and operating models

• Must be an early adopter of technology and passionate about technological evolution

• Natural leaderships and strong communication skills are a must

• Knowledge and experience of digital marketing tools and strategies
  • Support and influence the growth of consultants and the wider company
  • Support our CEO, who is based in the USA, with the performance of our London office
  • Think of innovative ideas to excel our growth
  • Be a "go to" person within the London office for ideas, support, development
  • Have a great understanding of the tech market
  • Play a vital part in the internal hiring process for the London office

• Manage KPI's & input

• Manage team members reviews, promotions, disciplinaries

• Run training sessions, incentives & much more
