We are currently looking for a Cloud Services Team Leader, you will lead a team of highly skilled technical engineers to provide technical escalation support to the Service Desk, ongoing platform management and automation of infrastructure services

Responsibilities

Lead a small team of highly skilled technical engineers to deliver the following outcomes:
  • Provide technical escalation support to the Service Desk, empowering the Service Desk through knowledge and collaboration
  • Execute the release/change management process and work collaboratively with the Cloud Operations Team to ensure environments are appropriately maintained and the integrity assured
  • Act as the Service Transition gate keeper from Cloud Solution Specialists into the Cloud Operations Team
  • Continually review business issues/problems and implement automation to proactively identify/alert and remediate issues with 'no human intervention'
  • Work with the Cloud Solution Specialists & Cloud Operations function to continually improve Infrastructures under Centrality Management to increase availability/optimisation
  • Completes Major Incident Analysis process to drive continual improvement
  • Identify and implement self-service solutions in collaboration with the Help Desk Function
  • Ensures the function stays up to date with the latest Cloud innovations, and security postures
  • Manages team performance, setting objectives, development and ensuring adherence to HR policies and procedures
  • Oversees quality system process/adherence across the function
  • Acts as a personal contributor 80% of time


Experience, Skills and Behaviours required
  • Prior knowledge of Platform operations within a mission critical 24×7 environment
  • At least 6 months team management or supervision experience
  • Ideally worked in a Managed Services Environment


  • 3rd line Technical skills (Office 365/Azure), PowerShell Scripting/Cloud Security, Active Directory & group policy management


  • Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
  • Azure Administer (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft M365 Fundamentals (MS-900)
