To help us on this journey, we need a Global Head of Training, who will deliver consistent training standards through the production and delivery of world-class blended learning materials, including face-to-face instruction, virtual delivery and impulse learning such as videos and e-learning. You will also manage the teams that will rollout and employ this material in all of our existing locations and set the quality bar, as we expand into new territories.
We are looking for a Global Head of Training with experience and knowledge of the full training cycle. You have a passion for innovation and a knack for problem solving, along with the ability to thrive in ambiguity while creating world-class learning experiences. In this critical strategic leadership role, you will be responsible for development, introduction and assessment of a full suite of training materials and delivery methods. The role requires a creative, big-picture individual who is excited to be accountable for your own team and the standards achieved by our network of partners.
Your remit and span of control will be considerable, ensuring you are fully empowered to develop and manage training delivery across internal and external audiences and much more. You will develop in-app engagement tools to assess knowledge and learning retention throughout the depth of Wheely's fast-growth platform and staff structure, as well as track achievement and gain learning accreditation. As the Global Head of Training, you will develop new ideas relentlessly to push learning standards to the next level, shape the business, and manage your talented team in the execution of our training strategy.
Reporting to the VP Operations, the Global Head of Training will be responsible for continuing to build a high performing team: Managing and growing our team of world class trainers; responsible for shaping the organisation and defining hiring needs throughout, while also setting the future training strategy. You will be comfortable leading by example and establishing a fun, inclusive, and safe work environment.

Experience: You will have delivered success in prior leadership positions in a training / learning capacity. You have a minimum of 10 years of proven success in a demanding leadership role; shaping diverse teams, developing procedures, optimizing systems, and achieving benchmark operational goals. You exhibit a strong operational mindset. You show leadership by example. You're able to motivate, inspire and create an inclusive, positive and supportive work environment.

- Minimum 10 years experience in Training / Learning and Development roles, or equivalent.
- Preferred: PGCE or Masters in Education.
- In-person training delivery experience.
- Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and Skills Gap Analysis experience.
