Are you an NQT looking for your first position, an experienced teacher in SEN looking for a new opportunity or a experienced Primary or Secondary Mainstream teacher interested in making a change of direction in your career and specialising in teaching in a SEND School?

We are supporting this Manchester school to recruit for a Teacher for a mixed ability KS4 class with some KS3 children.

The school is for students with a wide variety of additional needs therefore a teacher who is adaptable and can teach across the curriculum and is able to create individualised engaging lesson plans in several subjects is required for this role.

All children in this class have complex needs and behavioural challenges so it is vital you have previous experience or knowledge of a similar setting.

You will be supported by teaching assistants who have a strong understanding of the students individual needs and play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and children.

Candidates applying will need:

QTS (NQT's will be considered)

Experience working with children and young people with special educational needs

Excellent behaviour management

A Team Teach qualification, or be willing to attend a course before starting.
