A leading UK based start up (600 people and counting) are continuing to expand their infrastructure development team and require a strong well rounded Senior to help drive and shape an ongoing replatforming project.

Having conquered the UK market in just 5 years, they're expanding their presence internationally and are building out a global platform on GCP leveraging Kubernetes, Terraform, Go and Python extensively.

We're looking for a dynamic Senior, someone with hands on engineering ability who also possesses sound architectural and leadership qualities. Fundamentally, a real breadth of experience across Linux engineering, public cloud (AWS or GCP), containerisation and infrastructure development (Terraform, Python, Go) is paramount here.

Not only do they use bleeding edge technologies and work in a collaborative, cross functional model but they also offer a great work life balance and fiercely competitive salary package.

Everyone works from home at least once or twice a week (pre-covid), on top of the hefty salary, they also offer a 20% bonus (paid quarterly), 25-30 days holiday (plus bank hols), lucrative stock, £1,000 yearly training budget, 12 weeks paternity (even greater maternity) leave as well as the usual private medical care, dental, free daily lunch etc.

With a focus on cloud infrastructure design as code, you'll be responsible for developing the Kubernetes platform further, building infrastructure in GCP via Terraform, writing IaC to deploy to Kubernetes and will work with Python and/or Golang extensively.

If you're a Principal or Senior engineer that benefits working for companies with strong engineering teams (seriously), high technical bar and sound cultural values please apply for further details.
