Therapy Service Manager - Merseyside (Remote Working)

Salary - £33,534k - £37,163k + Excellent Benefits

This post will be remote working with visits to sites across Merseyside

The Client

Our client offer an diverse range of support to adults and children through their schools, care homes, children's homes, community and social work services and social enterprise. Join our client on their journey to outstanding and become a member of their dedicated Senior Leadership Team in a role that leads the Income Generation, Fundraising and Marketing department to achieving the aims and objectives of the Strategic Plan.

The Role

As the Therapy Services Manager you will be accountable to the Director of Pathways and Partnerships and will lead the development of the therapeutic offer. You will support Psychotherapists (staff, freelance, sessional), counsellors and third party therapy providers to ensure that the services meet or preferably exceed statutory requirements and standards.

We are looking for an individual who will demonstrate a real passion for working with children with complex and special educational needs and disabilities with dedication to promoting and engaging young people in therapeutic interventions. You will work with home and support staff to assist in all aspects of the work to promote a healthy and supportive environment. Committed to delivering high quality intervention and therapy, you will work to achieve the highest of standards and continue to deliver the best outcomes for young people. You will promote an ethos of inclusive practice and support.

This post will take the lead on continuous improvement requiring you to have the confidence and skill base to manage change, support with development at a senior level and oversee a dedicated work force.
Previous Knowledge and Experience
The successful candidate will have a recognised post-registration qualification together with full membership/accreditation of a relevant professional institution and evidence of continuous professional development. In addition, you will have at least five years' post-qualification clinical practice experience.
