A successful and well-regarded financial services and consultancy firm based in Basingstoke are working exclusively with the Network professional team to appoint a Finance Manager. This successful business are currently going through a new stage of growth as their relatively new consulting arm has been steadily increasing their customer base, while the core business has remained strong throughout the summer months. This ambitious firm have been also been slowly growing their headcount which now stands at over 50 thus the time has come to appoint a dedicated Finance Manager to provide day to day support to their highly impressive Financial Director.
Your Role & Responsibilities
This Finance Manager is a true all-round finance role that offers the successful candidate a holistic picture of the accounting process. The objective will be for the post holder to be able to deal with many of the day to day duties on behalf of the FD thus freeing them up to add additional commercial input to the wider management team.
Duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
-Assisting with the monthly management accounts process to ensure packs are insightful and accurate.
-Play a lead role in the month end close process and ensure financial position is available as quickly as possible.
-Cash flow forecasting and working closely with the credit controller
-Ensure the accruals and prepayments are accurate and understood by budget holders
-Deal with all transactional finance including, Accounts payable, Accounts receivable, General ledger and working to TB.
-Assist with the payroll process for all employees
-Deal with all group VAT returns
-Playing a lead role in product pricing and associated analysis
What Do You Need to Apply?

However, the successful post holder must exhibit demonstrable experience in an all- round finance role either cultivated within industry or accountancy practice environment. Strong systems and excel skills will also be looked upon favorably as well as the ability to work independently and manage workloads to ensure all deliverables of the role are met and exceeded.
