We are currently looking for an Acquisition Inside Sales Representative - to join the very successful team based in Glasgow, to further grow our successful business within the EMEA market, focusing on Managed Service Providers in the backup and recovery and SaaS

The individual should have a sales or technical background and keen to work in a high paced software organisation. The successful candidate will have a key focus on Backup, Disaster Recovery & Data Protection Solutions owned by Quest.

Responsibilities
  • Achieve quarterly assigned sales quotas
  • Maintain accurate forecast and activities for assigned region in the CRM (SalesForce)
  • Prospect Net New B2B customers and develop business relationships
  • Finding, developing and closing sales opportunities alongside Field Sales, Pre-Sales and the wider territory team
  • Provide product knowledge to prospective customers in the EMEA region
  • Identify and qualify leads while also using other sources such as new customer databases
  • Manage and track all sales activities in Salesforce.com and manage pipeline with accurate forecasting
  • Provides product or BU specific expertise.
  • Responsible for identifying sales opportunities for a defined set of products and services within Data Protection
  • Identifies customer needs/ requirements, and recommends the appropriate products and solutions using BANT questioning. Budget, Authority, Need, Timescales
  • Remains up-to-date on new product, technology, and services offerings
  • Stays current on the data protection industry and competitive solutions
  • Promotes and positions key strategic product and service offerings
  • Products and Services: Sells a broad range of software solutions
  • Recommends business solutions considering customer needs and Quest interests
  • Proactively contact prospects to identify net new business opportunities
  • Engage directly with end users via telephone calls, email, and social media accounts
  • Regular Travel to customer sites, events and trade shows and attending the main office in Glasgow, Scotland when requested essential

Qualifications
  • Fluency in English both spoken and written
  • Additional language skills desirable
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar B2B sales role or IT Managed Service Provider
  • Knowledge of the Backup and Disaster Recovery Marketplace and Key Technologies within
  • A proven track record of over-achieving key performance indicators and sales targets
  • A Strong commercial awareness and sound understanding of sales and project dynamics
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
