Your new company
You will be working in a school situated in Solihull which has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted in the majority of areas and 'Outstanding' in Early Years provision. They create a safe, enjoyable and exciting community in which every person is valued and encouraged to explore their potential
Your new role
You will be working alongside the class teacher with exclusively supporting a 1:1 child in Year 3 who is on the autistic spectrum. You will be expected to adapt resources to support the pupil to ensure that they reach their potential in all subjects and liaise with the SENCO and other professionals regarding educational health plans and the pupil's progress. You need to be caring, nurturing, patient and calm to successfully support the child.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will need to hold relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications to support children in a primary school, have experience with working with children who are on the autistic spectrum, be adaptable to support the child's needs and have effective behaviour management. You will also be a good team player, have a good understanding and knowledge of the National Curriculum.
In addition to this, we will require two satisfactory references.
