Our client secondary is a well established, well reputed secondary school situated in the Orrell area of Wigan. Due to a long standing reputation for being one of the best schools in the area, the school is regularly oversubscribed and stands firmly as the school of choice for parents and students in the local community. With over 1200 students currently on roll, the school is larger than the average secondary school but this does not take away from a cohesive and positive environment in which students behave well and have a desire to learn.The school is situated with good locality to the M6 motorway which links the school to the immediate surrounding areas such as Standish, Shevington and Ashton as well as those slightly further out such as Warrington, Skelmersdale and St Helens.The incoming Teaching Assistant will be responsible for working with individual students during lessons, mainly those with EHCPs and identified learning difficulties along with providing overall support to the classroom whilst the teacher is delivering planned lessons.
