My client is a small-mid cap UK corporate broking and Nomad firm, with a generalist sector coverage. Their research is non-independent corporate client focused and they are very successfully growing the business across equities and corporate advisory, which is why they are looking to hire successful Equity Sales people into the team.
Distribution of the research product, corporate access, trading platforms and the marketing of the capital market transactions (initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, convertibles) to buy-side clients (mutual funds, hedge funds, pension funds etc.).
Preparation of in-depth competitive analysis of market developments by continuously collecting key data, analyzing trends, anticipate market moves and initiate trade ideas.
Development of a strategic approach to finding and on-boarding new clients.
Supporting international sales efforts, coordinating and facilitating special projects as requested by management.
Assisting in the organization of investor conferences, marketing trips for analysts and roadshow trips for our corporate clients.
Drive P&L performance and monitor accounts.
5+ years of UK small/mid cap Equity Sales experience is required
Fundamental understanding of the UK financial industry (securities markets, evaluation, brokerage operations etc.).
A portable client base of institutional clients
