Air Conditioning Engineer

Circa £32,500

You will be working for a privately owned and fiercely independent nationwide supplier of maintenance services. They serve corporate, public sector and managing agent clients, with sites from Aberdeen to Cornwall and Kent. Their clients rely on them to manage offices, commercial properties, retail sites, schools, universities, hospitals, hotels, laboratories, luxury residential units and historic listed buildings.

The Role - Air Conditioning Engineer

Our client is looking to recruit a mobile air conditioning engineer, covering commercial FM contracts l. The successful engineer will be responsible for covering mechanical building services in various offices, retail sites, schools and commercial properties.

Air Conditioning Engineer Responsibilities:

Provide planned and reactive maintenance on commercial air conditioning systems (splits, VRVs, VRFs etc.
Service, maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repair
Provide general building services maintenance (plumbing, building fabric repairs etc.)
Responding to call outs
Requirements for the role:

Recognised EITB or CITB apprenticeship or other similar approved training or further education qualifications in an appropriate discipline
Minimum air conditioning engineer qualifications to NVQ level 2
Must have City & Guilds award in 2079-11 F-Gas Cat1 and ODS regulations
Must be able to read and work to mechanical and electrical schematic drawings
Fully conversant with all major manufactures systems and equipment
Experience of maintaining all relevant mechanical and electrical equipment to clearly defined criteria
Full UK Driving Licence
Air Conditioning Engineer Package:

Salary: Circa £32,500
Company vehicle, tools, uniform
Paid travel time
Opportunities for overtime
Bonus payments for OTE
