Our client is a highly profitable private equity backed tech services business and we are seeking to recruit a new Business Partner to work in the commercial finance team. The company is driving a growth strategy across both the UK and international markets, funded by investment from a leading private equity firm.

The Business Partner role will be highly project based, supporting on commercial bids and tenders when they arise. More generally, the role will parter with senior management and their teams across the company, looking to improve all aspects of business performance.

You will be responsible for complex pricing submissions as well as maintaining, reviewing and reporting on other business development opportunities required by the Business Development (BD) and Finance function. You will be commercially astute and will have the ability to assess and quantify real risks associated with business performance. The role will discuss options with and will advise various stakeholders, challenging the status quo, providing decsision support and taking a lead on pricing activity. You will be required to adapt to different situations, cultures and relationships, where you will need to develop and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a first class academic background and will be a qualified accountant. Sector experience is not a prerequisite, but you will ideally have gained experience in the finance function of a complex technology services or support services business. Commercial acumen is absolutely essential, in order to present complex financial information to stakeholders in a way that adds value.
