Are you a natural leader, passionate about planning, meticulous about measurement and always looking to deliver the best for your clients and teams? OMD are looking for an ambitious, client focused media planning professional to be the key contact for one of our biggest clients, Lidl. Reporting to the Managing Partner, this is a tantalising opportunity to lead the direction of a hugely exciting piece of business, driving Lidl's communications planning agenda as they continue to target double digit annual growth as a disruptor in the grocery sector. You will be leading a high-performing, mutually supportive team across strategy, ideas generation, cross-channel planning and account management.
You will have a strong knowledge of communications strategy and channel planning; you will confidently walk clients through your media strategy and be able to articulate your media rationale with the consumer insight firmly at the heart. You will work closely with our specialists and with media owners to plan campaigns, to spot and customise media opportunities, and to ensure Lidl leads the category. A background in retail is preferred but experience of leading fast moving, large scale, complex accounts with multiple workstreams is vital.
