Are you and Application Support Analyst looking for a new challenge? Are you innovative, supportive and diligent? Can you liaise with external 3rd party partners as well as internal customers?

If so, we want to hear from you!

Drax Group is playing a vital role in helping change the way energy is generated, supplied and used. Generating 11% of the UK's renewable energy supply, we're committed to enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future.

We're now looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our SMART team in Northampton on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll provide support in maintaining the service lifecycle of a suite of internally developed applications and services, ensuring high availability and stability of the services within our SMART applications domain.

You'll be investigating and resolving incidents and service requests relating to internally developed applications, as well as assisting the Application Management and DevOps team with testing and change activities. The role will also involve creating and maintaining knowledgebase articles to improve efficiency and response times.

Knowledge of SQL and C# programming languages is an advantage, and you'll need an ITIL qualification or an understanding of ITIL best practices for service operation. We're looking for a candidate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer care.
