Each year we build many new affordable homes and manage a total portfolio of around 45,000 properties; providing a range of maintenance and support services that help enrich the lives of our customers.

As the Head of Corporate Communications, you'll develop and drive Orbit's reputation and brand as a sector leader, ensuring that we connect with our stakeholders, partners, , investors, influencers and policy makers within the diverse communities where we work.
You will work closely with the CEO and Director of Strategy and Brand to shape key corporate communications that will be used to tell Orbit's story and help further our ambitions, ensuring that we deliver clear corporate messages that demonstrate our socio-economic purpose.
You will be a skilled writer, able to deliver to high standards, whilst being able to vary style and tone according to the audience, with responsibilities to include our annual report, corporate website, CEO communications and providing briefings and content for the CEO in preparing for internal and external speaking opportunities.

We are looking for a qualified individual with demonstrable experience in the Corporate Communications field. You will be educated to degree level with relevant professional qualifications in journalism (NCTJ/NUJ) or public relations (CIPR).
You will be extremely thorough with strong attention to detail with the ability to write high quality communications for a variety of audiences and experience of producing core corporate documents.
You'll be an influential character with sound communication and presentation skills with the ability to inspire confidence with a wide range of senior stakeholders.
You should regard yourself as someone who is a highly critical thinker with good analytical and problem-solving skills and able to think creatively and strategically to enhance and promote a corporate reputation or brand.
