James Carrera at Umbilical has partnered with an established Pharmaceutical client to source an experienced Training Manager and specialist in Global Patient Safety to partner with key stakeholders to update and create engaging online learning programs for scientific & healthcare professionals.

This is an opportunity to manage end to end training programs and be very creative with it.

Accountable for:

Working cross functionally as a training and e-learning internal developer / consultant, you will maintain training standards to compliance according to learning governance, support curricula reviews and manage training for role-based needs, as well as;
  • Maintain / develop online training including SCORM packages with interactivity, video capture, system simulations and knowledge assessments
  • Collaborate with the quality documents & training administration to update training documentation into the LMS and the electronic documents repository
  • Plan/structure courses in LMS for training project delivery and e-learning implementation
  • Runs video capture of system simulations, video and audio edits
  • Works with subject matter experts coordinating scripts and narration
  • Ensures adherence of training content authors to materials to the learning governance framework, training and quiz standards
  • Develop solutions to complex problems requiring regular use of ingenuity and innovation.

Qualifications:

Educated to degree level in Life Science or associated subject, you will have a proven background in L&D working on training material development for online learning in a large organisation in a regulated environment, as well as;
  • Competent in use of e-Learning software (e.g. Captivate/Articulate)
  • Familiar with planning and implementing courses within an LMS
  • Ability to maintain and develop online training including SCORM packages with interactivity, video capture, system simulations and knowledge assessments
  • Proven at uploading courses to LMS, LMS testing schedule, verification and problem-solving technical issues with the SCORM packages with minimal supervision
  • Direct experience of administration within a Learning Management System (LMS), upload and testing courses and pulling reports.
