To this end, NHS Lothian welcomes applications from all sections of society. ***PLEASE NOTE: We cannot accept late applications so please ensure your application is submitted early*** NHS LOTHIAN West Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership SPECIALIST CLINICAL PHARMACIST AFC Band 7 (Full and Part Time Opportunities) West Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership are increasing their clinical capacity across Primary Care in support of Scottish Government’s Achieving Excellence strategy and in fulfillment of the plans for a pharmacotherapy service for General Practice. We require pharmacists to deliver a range of pharmacotherapy activities including medicines reconciliation, monitoring of high risk medicines and once qualifications obtained to be an active independent prescriber. You will have excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, allowing you to work as an effective part of a multidisciplinary team. The role also allows the individual to build and develop key relationships with secondary care colleagues and community pharmacy. This post requires the post holder to have a PVG Scheme membership/ record. If the post holder is not a current PVG member for the required regulatory group (i.e. child and/or adult) then an application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before they can begin in post.
