Search for more 'Fife Council Jobs' on Facebook or follow us on Twitter @FCJobsOfficial Requirements You will be responsible for delivering priorities outlined in the Plan 4 Fife and the Cowdenbeath Area Local Community Plan. You will engage effectively with people in communities in a specific neighbourhood as well as across the committee area. You will work closely with the Cowdenbeath Community Development team and other partners, using a community development approach to work with client groups in the following areas: Youth Work Adult Learning Capacity Building Welfare Reform Anti Poverty Initiatives. In addition to the neighbourhood work in an area, you will also have a lead responsibility for co-ordinating and developing support to community groups across the Cowdenbeath Area. You will also be responsible for adhering to and maintaining appropriate performance monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to be able to demonstrate the impact of the work Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme. The Individual The individual will have: Experience of monitoring and evaluating programmes. Experience of developing and delivering learning programmes. Experience of working with community organisations and supporting community consultations. Ability to motivate staff and learners. Ability to engage with a range of client groups. Experience of multi-agency working. Ability to work in partnership in a range of settings. An understanding of the issues which affect communities. Ability to use different models of evaluation. Ability to interact respectfully with other people and build strong alliances. Ability to consult effectively with groups and to coordinate consultation processes with other services.
