Core responsibilities: Lead the effort to automate the configuration, testing, deployment and maintenance of our on-premise and cloud infrastructure Troubleshooting and resolution of systems and network issues/outage events Improve monitoring infrastructure Working with the development team to improve scalability Define and document hardware/software/security infrastructure for deployed SaaS web apps Drive the security infrastructure consistent with best practices and customer expectations e.g. Web Application Firewall, DDOS protection, IPD/IDS, Antivirus, OS hardening Access control and logging Core skills: Best practice use of AWS for providing secure, scalable robust SaaS web apps Experience automating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in a Linux and Docker stack using tools such as Jenkins Microservices architecture Experience working with 24x7 high availability platforms Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting or infrastructure as code Strong practical Linux-based systems administration skills including cloud and virtualised environments Taking ownership of cloud-based infrastructure solutions across all stages from planning to support Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following: Git Go Scala Jenkins Neo4j PostgreSQL Salary & Benefits Salary & Benefits £50,000- £80,000 Share Scheme Flexitime, core hours are 10:00 to 15:30 A 4 day working week (35 hours) Awarded in the Top Employer Awards 2020 Morgan Hunt is a multi award winning Employment Business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
