SALARY - c£55-60,000

LOCATION - South West London

Overview:

This business are a recognisable name within the insurance sector. The Head of Procurement is looking for a Procurement Manager who has experience across multiple categories. The core focus of the role will be on the technology, digital, marketing and BPO categories. It is vital that candidates have experience in 3/4 of the desired categories.

About The Role:

Lead multiple Strategic Programmes through the Commercial Delivery phase into BAU, providing a strategic contract management approach.

Strong experience of managing contract renewals within a complex delivery organisation.

Deliver value on an ongoing basis, meeting specific in-year targets whilst proactively looking for new opportunities.

Provide high value support and quality assurance to the Group's Procurement strategy and deliver contracts across the business.

Represent Procurement at regular engagement meetings with various stakeholders.

Work within the businesses control and governance frameworks, with focus on the newly developed Purchase to Pay suite of policies and processes.

Take on responsibility for leading the commercial and contractual negotiations supported by our legal team.

Provide additional support to the more junior procurement team members, as and when required.

Be a role model for the Procurement team raising the profile of Procurement within the business.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Must have excellent negotiation skills and in-depth knowledge of procurement processes (tendering, contract drafting, pre and post contract strategy fulfilment)

Subject matter expert with extensive knowledge of either Contact Centre Outsourcing or IT category, including sub-categories such as software, infrastructure, networks, digital and consultancy spend to name a few areas

Have the ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders at all levels, and work cross-functionally to develop and execute sound sourcing strategies in partnership with internal stakeholders and outsourcing vendors

Continuously strives for improvements in cost, value and innovation

Ability to influence across the business and engage at different stakeholder levels

A good understanding of legal implications within contracts: compliance, data protection, risk, information security
