Disability Assessor - Nurses, Physiotherapists, Paramedics and Occupational Therapists

£32,000 with additional bonuses

Monday to Friday, 9-5pm, No bank holidays

About the role

We are looking for registered nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and paramedics to join our team of Disability Assessors, bringing your clinical skills and developing them further within a supportive environment.

You will become one of our highly regarded Back Office PIP Disability Assessors, providing the expertise needed to support members of the public with long term health conditions, disabilities and illness. You will enjoy a structured week which will give you a great work life balance as well as receive the training to help you develop your career as a healthcare professional.

About you

To be successful in this role you will need the following skills:
  • Organisational - you will manage multiple cases at any one time
  • Communication - using your skills to hold consultations and understand complex conditions
  • Working autonomously - you will manage your own diary and appointments
  • Reporting - you will produce comprehensive, detailed and impartial reports using the evidence you receive to ensure people get the right support and benefits
  • Team orientated - you will also be an active part of a wider team of healthcare professionals, sharing best practice and offering support

  • Full professional registration with the relevant body (NMC / HCPC / GMC)
  • A minimum of 2 years of post-registration experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, clinical and communication skills
  • A professional, empathetic and positive personality
  • A driver's license
