1st /2nd Line IT Helpdesk Technician (6 Month FTC) - Oldham

A 1st Line / 2nd Line Helpdesk technician is required by a leading organisation based at their Oldham office. This will be an initial 6-month fixed term contract as they look to restructure their IT Department.

You must have previous experience within an IT Support role with knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365 and Exchange. It will prove to be a bonus if you have previous experience of Citrix support.

  • Citrix (desirable)
  • ITIL v3 (desirable)

You will be joining a large department of IT Helpdesk Technicians in providing effective 1st line IT support to all internal customers.

Roles and responsibilities:
  • Providing efficient 1st Line/2nd Line IT support across the company for staff
  • Liaising with internal customers to resolve service issues with a continuous approach to service improvement
  • General IT administration (telephone support, technical queries etc.)
  • Supporting business change projects
  • Effective delivery of problem and change management within IT Services
  • Escalating technical issues when required

The client offers flexible working rota patterns and are currently working remotely, looking to pay a salary up to £26,000 for this position. Their vision is to deliver a great service to all internal and external clients and offer development and progression opportunities.
