This brand new opportunity is a pivotal role in this production organizations' growth strategy and presents itself as an excellent opportunity for a focused, diligent and hands-on IT / Project Manager who is looking to take their career to the next level and to join an ambitious UK and International business.

Our client who continues to make substantial investment in both technology and the training & development of their employees, is looking for a team focused business systems and IT champion who will be responsible for developing an IT and Projects strategy to identify, drive forwards and deliver the future direction and use of technology to enhance efficiency and production. Other areas of strategic involvement will include creating a vision for IT within the organisation, motivating the team to embrace it and enabling it to open door with new and existing customers.

This role working closely with Finance and Operational teams will also procure, negotiate, manage and facilitate third party contracts ensuring value for money and cost effective service delivery. As a senior member of the leadership team you will also work closely with other managers to lead, influence and champion change, ensuring and safeguarding compliance in line with the relevant legislation, ISO and protection of data. In addition to this you will be responsible for overseeing server and hardware upgrades, company mobile phones and laptops and the management of security and IT risk within the business.

Our client is looking for an experienced IT Manager with a broad technical background and experience in ERP / MRP implementations, Infrastructure and software applications, third party IT projects and the delivery of continuous improvement projects. With advanced MS Excel data, manipulation and modeling skills you will also be very hands-on with a can do and will do mentality.
