Summary

Owing to continued expansion of the business and greater internal demands, Yordas Group wishes to recruit a Systems Manager to be based within Yordas Digital, which manages the Group's internal business systems.

Directly reporting to the Group CIO and liaising with teams across the business, the successful candidate will be responsible for analysing, designing and implementing new processes, improvements and changes to our systems.

The successful candidate will take a methodical and pragmatic approach to analysing current usage patterns, and identifying and developing potential enhancements. You will provide architectural and technical inputs to systems ensuring the changes you make deliver efficiencies and drive productivity within the business. You will take ownership of the company's business systems which include G Suite, Salesforce, PeopleHR, Basecamp and our Group intranet site. You will provide support and training to system users and have excellent communication skills, translating complex requirements into actions, whilst being able to multitask and adapt to fast-changing priorities.

Role and Responsibilities

Main Activities:
  • Deliver IT solutions that provide competitive advantage to support the growth of the business
  • Pro-actively contribute to the continuous improvement of technology/business processes through identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes
  • Conduct market research to outline new system solutions that will improve current and future business capability
  • Participate in the formulation and development of the Company's ICT strategy
  • Undertake workflow/application development
  • Plan and oversee the release of upgrades and enhancements to systems
  • Act as the first point of contact for all system and data queries
  • Evaluate user needs and system functionality, ensuring that systems meet these needs
  • Take responsibility for the company's core business systems, including administration, maintenance and development
  • Develop, monitor and manage SLAs
  • Organise the purchase of hardware and software
  • Provide support, advice and training to system users
  • Document systems and workflows in a user-friendly way
  • Maintain and develop relationships with external partners
  • Develop excellent working relationships with all departments within the business
  • Comply and uphold the company's policies and procedures, such as health and safety, IT, security, disaster recovery, email and anti-virus policies


Profile and Qualifications

Essential:
  • Degree in a Business, Accounting, Computing, Mathematics discipline or a minimum of 5 years direct relevant experience
  • Robust working knowledge and understanding of Business Systems and their application
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • The ability to turn around work efficiently and to a high standard with excellent attention to detail
  • Adept at successfully managing a fluctuating workload and works well under pressure

Desirable:
  • Experience administering one or more of the following systems: G Suite by Google, Salesforce, PeopleHR, Basecamp
  • Experience with managing complex multiple spreadsheets in Google Sheets and/or Excel
  • Ability to author HTML
