Applications are invited for experienced child and adolescent psychiatrists to join an established multidisciplinary outpatient (Tier 3) CAMHS team based in London.

The Consultant Psychiatrist will play a key role in providing Psychiatric expertise to the multi- disciplinary assessment and management of children with mental health difficulties.
The service includes Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists, Clinical/ Counselling Psychologists, Child Psychotherapists, Family Therapists, CAMHS Practitioners and Mental Health Nurses.
The clinic provides Tier 3 CAMHS services for children and young people up to the age of 18 years . Much of our clinical work involves close multi-agency liaison with schools, social services and voluntary sector providers.
The caseload in this 10 PA post is approximately up to 100 cases in total across the Generic/ NDS Team. In the Generic/ NDS team the work may include initiating and following up patients on medication, diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, assessment and managing Autism Spectrum Disorders with co-morbid mental health problems; treating mood/ anxiety disorders and tic disorders, as well as a consultation role in complex cases involving multi-agency liaison including safeguarding.
