Senior UX Researcher

6m Contract

Rate: £42 - £47.60p/h (40 hours p/w)

The ideal candidate will be a senior user researcher experienced in working in technology and

commerce, focusing on product research on business discovery, decision making and conversion. A

proven track record of translating insights to actual product changes that inspire senior stakeholders is a must. You should have hands-on experience in conducting mixed methods research individually as well as partnering with agencies. Some experience of working with industry experts and C-suite in different industries is useful.

Responsibilities

• Work cross-functionally with design, product management, policy, comms, content strategy,

engineering and marketing teams to build truly impactful products

• Design hypotheses and lead studies that examine both user behaviour and attitude as well

as larger market directions

• Generate actionable insights that fuel ideation and evaluation of our product directions

• Conduct research using a wide variety of qualitative methods and a subset of quantitative

methods, such as surveys, analysing census data and publicly available data sets

• Communicate results and illustrate suggestions in compelling and creative ways

• Ability to ask, as well as answer product and user experience related questions

• Command of a broad set of qualitative, quantitative and user-centred design methods

• Basic understanding of quantitative, behavioural analysis and statistical concepts

• Ability to ask, as well as answer product and user experience related questions

The Person
  • Atleast 7 years UX experince
  • • MS/PhD, human behaviour related field (HCI, Psychology, Health, Social Science, Information
  • Science, etc.)
  • • 5+ years' experience in applied product research
