Tier 1 Legal 500 ranked Top Tier 2020, our highly regarded Banking and Finance team are regularly instructed by lenders and investors, as well as borrowers and companies seeking finance.

Clients include:

Lloyds Banking Group (including Bank of Scotland), Santander plc, HSBC Bank plc, Clydesdale Bank plc, National Westminster Bank/Royal Bank of Scotland plc, Handelsbanken, Norwich and Peterborough Building Society, Ipswich Building Society, Legion Trade Finance and Boost Capital, as well as a number of other private lenders.

Our team's expertise covers a variety of financial products and services across a wide range of industry sectors, including:

  • Syndicated and bilateral conventional lending
  • Property finance, including advising on funding acquisitions of land, investment property and development/construction

  • Re-financings, restructurings/work-outs
  • Private finance and loan arrangements

Ensure you are aware of and comply with all information security policies of the organisation relevant to your business role;

  • Report any actual or potential security breaches; and
  • Contribute to risk assessment where required.

This opporutnity is ideally suited to ambitous Solicitor/Associates keen to forge a career specifically within Banking and Finance, able to demonstrate experience of drafting loan agreements, security documents and finance documents. An understanding of finance transactions would be beneficial.

Solicitors of 0-2 PQE should ideally (but not essentially) be based in Cambridge or Chelmsford, 3 years + all offices apply.
