We currently have a vacancy for a Field Service Engineer
at our Leeds site reporting to the Deputy Service Centre Manager.
The overall purpose of this role is to carry out servicing and repair to a range of chassis and vehicle mounted municipal equipment at both customer premises and within Company workshops.
The role will require a flexible approach to hours as overtime may be offered at short notice and applicants must be willing to travel.Key requirements of a Field Service Engineer include:
Successful candidates will have:
- Ability to read wiring and hydraulics diagrams
- Proven diagnostic skills
- A strong understanding of electronics
- A current PLG licence
- A current HGV licence
- City & Guilds Training or equivalent
- Experience of maintenance and repairs of RCVs or similar
- Experience of both body and chassis maintenance and repair
- A proven knowledge of good health and safety practices
