Buckingham Home Care Ltd is a family business that serves the community of the small town of Buckingham and surrounding villages. We are looking to recruit caring, dedicated and professional care visitors to join our team. As a care visitor you will be providing a vital service to our clients, assisting with their day-to-day commitments and helping them with their personal care. As well as a rewarding career, you will receive unmatched support from our dedicated care co-ordinators and senior care visitors, not to mention our outstanding head office team.
Being a care visitor involves morning calls eg getting clients up - washing, dressing and preparing breakfast etc. Lunchtime calls eg providing lunch ... sandwiches, microwave cooking etc. Evening calls eg preparing for bed and ensuring they're either assisted to bed or prepared for bed, depending on the individual's requirements. As a care visitor for BHC Ltd, we offer you the opportunity to have a progressive and extremely meaningful career, providing care and support to elderly and vulnerable people in your local community.
As a personal care worker you will be on a flexible rotating shift pattern of Mon-Sun 7.30am to 2pm and 4/5pm to 9.30pm. You must have a valid driving licence, a car and live in or close to the town of Buckingham. It's preferable, but not essential, that applicants have at least a level 2 in Health & Social Care (QCF or NVQ) and must have a full driving licence and vehicle.
If you are interested in exploring a career within health & social care, we'd love to hear from you. All we ask is that you genuinely care and want to make a difference to a person's life.
