Our client is a leading international Financial Services Business, due to an internal restructure we are looking for a Treasury Director to take full responsibility for the UK business. You'll play an important role in improving or maintaining the financial health and success of a business. Some of the duties and responsibilities are as follow:
- reporting to the UK CFO
- Management of a treasury department of 60 members of staff
- determining financial strategy and policy
- advising on what businesses to invest in
- arranging appropriate funding
- managing and mitigating against financial risk
This is a varied and responsible role that ensures the company has the capital to meet its obligations, involving raising funds from banks, debt and equity markets and actively trading in the foreign exchange, commodity and money markets.
Other activities involve dealing with property, taxation, insurance and pensions.
We are keen to speak with candidates who are currently work in a senior treasury capacity for an international financial service business with UK / European presence. The ideal candidate will also be professionally qualified however candidates with time served experience will be considered. This role will be based in West Yorkshire, candidates from the region would be preferred.
