*.Net Software Developer Required for an award winning UK organization who design and develop innovative and easy to use software for criminal justice agencies*

SCOPE OF POSITION

Our client is looking to expand their Software Development team in Southampton and looking for Front-end (Angular); back-end and full-stack developers who has a strong background in C#.NET. We are recruiting a team of 5 engineers and they will consider recent Computer Science graduates who are keen, eager to learn and passionate about developing software that makes a realy difference in the world.

DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver effective software code, for our new or existing applications and products
  • Use our toolset (.Net Core, VS Code, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence) to manage code, released, work items, tracking and continuous integration
  • Test functionality and usability of applications
  • Diagnosis and resolution of customer support calls
  • Responsibility in ensuring successful backups and archives of Source Code
  • Participation in application design planning and Agile workshops
  • Provide a 'customer facing' role where necessary for the purposes of design, support, implementation and training
  • Adhere to relevant quality and information standards and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with other employees


CORE COMPETENCIES
  • Good strong experience in the following:
  • Microsoft .Net CORE
  • Angular (Front-end)
  • C#
  • Docker and/or Kubernetes
  • MVC experience
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience of creating Web Services, REST API, or system interfaces


QUALITY & SECURITY (if applicable)
  • Maintain CTC Security Clearance as part of continued employment
  • Ensure continued knowledge and compliance in line with the companies Quality and Information Security Management System
  • Learn and be aware of new and changing related technology
  • Maintain SC Clearance (for DBA work on customer IL3 systems if applicable)
  • Read, review and adhere to the companies processes and procedures and actively contribute to improve
