Head of Veterinary Nursing Centre and Programme Manager for Veterinary Nursing, Duchy College Rosewarne, CC36-CC47, £25,741 - £31,126, Closing Date Sunday 6th September 2020, Hours per week: 37. Weeks per year: 52.

Based at Duchy College Rosewarne, in beautiful Cornwall, we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated individual to oversee the Quality Assurance and teaching delivery of our Veterinary Nursing provision in the role of Head of Veterinary Nursing Centre and Programme Manager for Veterinary Nursing.

This exciting role will involve working with Training Liaison staff and Training Practices across the South West to ensure high quality clinical skills training and the organisation of ongoing Continuing Professional Development opportunities for Veterinary Practice staff at all levels. As a Programme Manager, you will also be responsible for the organisation of the teaching programme and for recruitment, tutorial support and teaching of Student Veterinary Nurses during their College days.

Applicants must be a Registered Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Surgeon, with a proven track record in the training of Veterinary Nurses as a Clinical Coach/Clinical Supervisor. Qualifications in teaching and Internal Quality Assurance are highly desirable. This very responsible role will require you to work in close liaison with the existing Veterinary Nursing team, have excellent management and communication skills, and a sound level of professionalism and integrity, with a strong emphasis on working with attention to detail.
