This is a UNIQUE opportunity for a Principal Developer / Lead Developer to join a truly dynamic, innovative and forward-thinking business, where you'll get the opportunity to be part of a journey and make a genuine difference.

If you're looking for a Management or Team Lead role then this is NOT for you. This is a HANDS-ON Development role with some mentoring.

My client is looking for a seasoned Developer with good knowledge of enterprise applications and cloud architectural patterns (either on AWS or Azure), as well as previous experience working as Principle Dev, Software Architect, Cloud Architect or a similar.

In other words: someone that could hit the ground running and help them almost from the beginning, not someone that would require them to teach him/her most of the technologies they use.

We're looking for a Principal Developer who is an enthusiastic team player who can drive change and has a passion for all things new Tech.

A Principle / Lead Developer is wanted to lead my clients development team and help them move their systems to the next level. ü Guide the teams to better collaboration and lead discussions between developers and product team members to help shape and deliver functionality

ü Work closely with the Executive Team and Senior Developer Team, ensuring consistency in technical solutions

ü Help ensure technical excellence throughout the team is maintained and put in place the frameworks to help mentor the junior members in best practices

ü Help define and enforce coding standards across the teams to drive software quality and development standards

ü Help identify the correct tools and frameworks to use and implement them within they're SCRUM process based on the agile manifesto

What you'll need......

ü 10 years+ commercial development experience

ü Strong communicator across technical and management teams

ü Excellent organisational skills, with experience of working as part of a skilled, high performing team

ü Leads by example

ü Confidence and ability to discuss project issues with company executives

ü Calm under pressure with ability to meet agreed deadlines

ü A natural problem solver who has a tolerance for uncertainty

ü Driven to continue learning and implementing best practice in a cost-effective way.

ü A realist, but also an out of the box thinker who will consider alternatives, considering the big picture business strategy as well as the small details

ü Solutions driven with a "can do" attitude
