Our client, a leading global telecommunication company, is in search of a Radio Network Performance Engineer to join their telecommunication projects in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for network capacity management, network performance management and network performance improvement with a deep understanding of network performance KPI and quality issues. Provide coverage, quality & capacity performance improvement solutions for GSM, UMTS and LTE.
  • Support the QOS follow ups, daily & weekly worst cells analysis.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction in terms of quality of the network, hold routine communication with the customers; get familiar with customer work processes and methods of network performance improvement; understand customer demands on network performance and strategic planning.
  • Support benchmarking/performance reports and provide network optimisation recommendations.
  • Support different performance related projects and customers and successfully deliver network performance related services.


Qualifications:

  • Strong radio network performance experience in GSM/UMTS/LTE (LTE being the most important) with experience ideally in 5G as well. Proven work experience in voice and data.
  • VoLTE (Voice over LTE) radio optimization and analysis (and ideally design).
  • Experience in providing coverage, quality & capacity performance improvement solutions for GSM, UMTS and LTE (LTE most important).
  • Experience in parameters fine tuning.
  • Frequency & neighbor optimization for GSM, UMTS and LTE (LTE most important).
  • Clear understanding of network strategy, also medium-term and long term traffic forecasts.
  • Good in network performance analysis and network optimization; network optimization strategy development.
  • Should be good at using PRS, U2020, FMA, OMSTAR but other tools are acceptable. Ideally experienced in BT specific tools like Greenplum and Nemesis.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) and able to work in the UK without visa restrictions.
