As we develop our longer-term vision, we will continue to ensure that we invest in our staff and other resources to provide a distinctive offer and excellent, supportive learning environment which meets the needs of students and employers and prepares local people for the changing workforce of the area.

Deputy Group Director IT Services

Salary: Circa £54k (more exceptional candidates)

Cross Campus

We aim to provide an efficient, aligned IT service across the whole NCC group to ensure that all staff and students receive the same positive user experience on each campus. There are many legacy and new challenges facing this growing IT Services team which need to be met in order to achieve this objective and we are therefore looking to recruit a Deputy Director to support the work of the Group Director in this process.

We are seeking an individual who will be able to address and take on these issues with positive results as well as providing the support to develop and innovate strategies to ensure we not only meet our objectives of an aligned group service but also the technological requirements to support the College's Strategic Intent. While technical knowledge is useful for this role, the successful candidate must have a good understanding of IT, possess strong soft skills and have proven ability to bridge the gap between the technology and the business. We are looking for someone with strong analytical skills, who is process driven as well as a good communicator with good product sense and vision.

This post can be at any of the NCC campuses to ensure integration into New City College policies and procedures following the recent merger but will have input in all group activities.

Closing date: 11th October 2020.

Interviews will take place week commencing: 19th October 2020.

If you wish to apply please email your CV and a supporting statement of no more than two sides of A4 explaining how you meet the requirements of the role by an email.
