£28,585 - £31,183 per annum (inclusive of Outer London Weighting)

Ealing ISAID! Services aims to empower parents/carers and young people with special educational needs and disabilities, by providing free impartial information and advice relating to education, health and social care.
We are looking for a Senior Practitioner who will take up this exciting new opportunity and join our team. As Senior Practitioner your role will involve leading on casework provision of the service, informing parents, children and young people who reside in Ealing of their rights regarding the SEND process.
By keeping abreast of education and other relevant legislation and SEND policy, you will support their navigation through the SEND assessment process, empowering them to express their views and needs, and developing their skills and confidence to self-advocate.
You'll work with families and other stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes for the education, health and care of the child/young person concerned. You will supervise volunteers and support the parent and young people champions. You will also promote a positive image of Family Action, representing the organisation and the service to service users, families, volunteers and external professionals.
Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service that we consider acceptable.
