Shatchi is a manufacturer and importer of seasonal products and currently specialises in Christmas and distribute our own brand products in the UK, Europe, USA and Canada.

We are looking for a Digital and E-Commerce Marketing Manager to join us as a senior team member. The successful candidate will have experience, vision, and determination to develop our existing business model. The candidate will have previously managed an e-commerce B2B and B2C store and is familiar with eBay and Amazon. You will have experience of driving continuous improvement in online sales, developing our brand and ideally have had some exposure to Christmas and outdoor products.

This role will require acquiring new customers to the website to drive customer conversion and then maintaining those customers. The individual will be capable of managing a small team that you will have the opportunity to put together. Our vision for this role is to build our online presence, run the entire digital marketing strategy and help us move onto the next stage in our development.

Skills Required and Responsibilities Include:

-Previous experience in an e-commerce role

-Experience with B2B and B2C

-Managing the day to day running of the e-commerce websites

-Uploading new products

-Managing our customer database to drive engagement and retention

-Growing our social media presence through Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc. by focusing on increasing followers and creating engaging new content

-Ad hoc marketing requests

-Monitor new developments within e-commerce and industry trends

-A basic understanding of CSS and HTML to make site changes

-Creating and planning innovative campaigns and managing digital spend

-Regularly monitoring our websites as well as our competitors

-Maintaining a high satisfaction of website user experience

-Strong commercial awareness and a proven ability to analyse data

-A good knowledge of SEO/SEM, Analytics and CRM

-Reporting to the directors with regular analytics and insights on user behaviour

-Excellent planning, organisation and project management skills

-A creative eye and technical understanding of data mining, sales opportunities and campaign concepts

-Actively looking for opportunities to optimise conversion rate

-Implement and execute seasonal and promotional activities. Experience with Christmas and outdoor products would be advantageous

-Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines

-Proven record of delivering results
