With the current situation the education system is currently facing we are in urgent need of an Experienced SEN Teacher to work in a special educational needs school based in Corby. You will be teaching Math and IT at GCSE level. This is a part time role offering 2.5 days per week but is ongoing until May 2021.
Our main priority is to keep our staff and schools as safe as possible and we are happy to work around you to ensure you feel comfortable in any school you visit. We will listen and take onboard any concerns you may have.
You will join a team of highly experienced SEN teachers, TA's as well as onsite medical support in modern and continuously growing school that supports students from Key Stage 1- sixth form.
In order to be considered for this vacancy you must:- Must have hold QTS/ PGCE- Must have experience working within a SEN setting- Have experience teaching GCSE Math and IT- Provide 2 references- Be confident, patient and resilient - Be well organised/ plan ahead to be able to deal with all situations- Have a valid DBS or be willing to apply for one through Connex Education- Be passionate about education and supporting children with their learning and development- Be willing to do lesson plans.
