Two Teaching Assistant positions available.
  1. 5 days per week (30 hours) term time only. Temporary contract to 31/08/2021 at salary scale H2 rising to H3, starting at £14,785 per annum pro rata.
  2. 2 days per week (12 hours) term time only. Temporary contract to 31/08/2021 at salary scale H2 rising to H3, starting at £5,913 per annum pro rata.

The working hours are currently 8.45am to 3.45pm while the school is running a staggered timetable, reverting to 8.15am to 3.15pm (a one hour unpaid break is incorporated in the hours).

Required immediately, an enthusiastic and committed person to support and work with students within and outside of the classroom. It is desirable that applicants hold a degree qualification or equivalent but this is not essential.

An interest in working with students with a wide range of special educational needs including emotional, social and mental health needs is essential, together with an interest in supporting second language learners. A caring, flexible and common sense approach is important.

Excellent CPD opportunities are available in our highly regarded Inclusion faculty and many of our Teaching Assistants move on to successful teaching careers.
