The company are global business, spanning 3 continents, specialising in specialist manufacturing solutions for a variety of industries including Aerospace, Automotive, Oil & Gas and more. Having been around for almost a century, this company have continued to grow and expand into new markets and are looking for a Manufacturing Manager to help with their expansion and join their close-knit team at their Chard site by offering a generous package as well the opportunity for the right candidate to develop themselves within the business and make their mark on the role and their respective site.
The core responsibilities of this role will be overseeing the day-to-day running of their factory, creating budgets and managing the finances of this site. They will also be managing the team and personnel and overseeing health and safety amongst the team and aiding the technical development of the company's processes. You will be working closely with the UK Operations Director.
This person will come from a production or manufacturing background from a highly regulated sector (such as Aerospace) with strong experience of managing a team and a good knowledge of health and safety and risk assessment.
